On Friday, December 10, 2010, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders (with help from a few other Senators) launched an old-fashioned filibuster. Instead of using parliamentary manuvers to stop a tax cut, he actually went to the speakers' well and gave a remarkable marathon speech. The embedded video is a few minutes out of a multi-hour address. His speech was so popular it crashed the Senate's video servers and C-SPAN 2's webcast.
