Commentary by NH State Rep. Timothy Horrigan
The House Petitions & Redress of Grievances Committee did not yet exist in 2009, but 5 petitions were filed anyway. There was no formal process for acting on them, but an ad-hoc caucus did work on some of these petitions.
Several of these petitions are duplicates of petitions which were filed in later years.
The documents are all dated December 2008 in the headers, but they were in fact officially filed with the House of Representatives at various points during the spring of 2009, after a January 21, 2009 decision by the Rules Committee.

contain errors and/or may look bad. The files are all bigger than
they need to be. I recommend the HTML pages, unless you want to
print
the petitions.
