Here is a press release I wrote (based in large part on a template suggested by NH Federal Dynamic) on behalf of my local DFA meetup group, regarding a Democratic Congressional Candidate's forum. The 1st CD consists of the eastern half of the state, plus the state's largest city, Manchester.

CANDIDATES FOR CONGRESS WILL DEBATE ON SUNDAY, MAY 7, 2006
Durham, NH; May 4, 2006: The Strafford/Rockingham Chapter of Democracy for America urges the voters of New Hampshire's First Congressional District to attend the Congressional Candidates forum at the Portsmouth Women's City Club, 375 Middle Street, Portsmouth, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday May 7.
Democratic Congressional candidates Carol Shea-Porter of Rochester, Peter Sullivan of Manchester, and Jim Craig of Manchester, will discuss issues facing the voters in the upcoming 2006 elections. A fourth candidate, Gary Dodds of Rye, is also running but has not attended recent forums while he is recovering from an accident.
The event is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by Federal Dynamic, a grassroots effort to engage Democrats in the 2006 Congressional campaigns by initiating conversations between candidates and voters.
