I missed most of Nic Haas's April 17, 2012 testimony on his petition #33 because Speaker O'Brien had taken the extraordinary step of meeting with Democrats, specifically me and two members of the caucus leadership. I thought— and I think everyone else thought— I was going to be kicked off the committee. But, I wasn't. I barged into the room around about halfway though this video. I seem to recall coming in shortly before some exceedingly strange testimony about a little girl hiding a toy watch from her mother in her Easy Bake Oven.
Me. Haas's previous spouse has told me that she disagrees with just about everything he says:

Haas returned to give what has been confusingly labeled as
"Founding Testimony." He used up an entire day of the
Redress Committee's time summing up his case, and he didn't even
hit all his points.
I didn't help things much by making a fuss right at the
beginning of the session about a global issue which didn't
particularly apply to his case. The committee is
asked to make serious findings on the basis of fragmentary
information. Nic actually gave us relatively complete
documentation: he rarely provided us with his ex-wife's filings,
but he did have all the Court Orders handy, so for a change we
actually could see what we were objecting to. Also, his
demands were not as exorbitant as most other petitioners'.
We especially got bogged down on the issue of money, which may
have been the biggest issue, but it was hardly the only issue.
He kept fellow petitioner Josh Youssef
waiting all day, but that was OK with Josh: the two men are good
friends, and Josh kept
Nick waiting all day on June 28, 2012. The
video is in two parts:
